How to replace the kitchen faucet

When the kitchen faucet appears to be inconvenient to use, inflexible, or has a sticky feel, or if it is improperly assembled or has a problem with a component, we need to replace it to ensure that it is used properly. It is very necessary to understand how to change it. How to remove the kitchen faucet below?

The first step: First, prepare tools: screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers. If you only replace parts (such as seals), prepare the part. Then close the main valve.

Step 2: Remove the small screw above or behind the faucet handle and remove the handle that is attached to the faucet body. Some of the faucet screws are hidden under metal buttons, plastic buttons, or plastic tabs. When the button is opened, the handle screws on the top are visible. For taps that have been in use for a long time, the screws may become tight due to rust, etc., and some oil may be dripped in.

The third step: If the screws are hidden in the hole, it is recommended to first observe with a hand, mainly to see what is the mouth of the fixing screw, cross or a word, and then use the appropriate screwdriver to loosen. The screw of a few brand faucets is an internal square hole (such as Moen). This type of screw removal is troublesome. When using an alternative tool, special care must be taken not to damage the screw opening. When the screw is loosened, the handle can be removed.

Step 4: At this time, what you are seeing is a big copper nut. After removing the nut with a large movable wrench, you can remove the valve plug from the faucet. Observe whether the copper plane under the spool is not smooth or has fine sand grains, and remove it cleanly. Will introduce how to replace the kitchen faucet.
