A practical and simple way to pick a faucet

The faucet manufacturers on the market now have a wide variety of products, making it difficult for people to select faucets. It is even more inconceivable for those who pay attention to details. So how can we pick a satisfying and suitable faucet from faucet manufacturers? Here are a few highlights for picking the faucets.

1, turn the handle: feel light valve is good

Common faucet spools produced by faucet manufacturers include steel ball valves and ceramic valve plugs. Steel ball valve core has a good resistance to pressure, but the disadvantage is that the rubber ring from the sealing effect is easy to wear and will soon be aging. Compared with the steel ball valve core, the ceramic valve core is more heat-resistant and wear-resistant. At the same time, the ceramic valve itself has a good sealing performance, so it can achieve a high resistance to opening times, and will not cause water nozzle leakage due to valve core wear. The faucet manufacturer's ceramic valve core faucet is also more comfortable and smooth to the touch and opens and closes quickly.

2, to test the book: quality is more assured

The faucet body is generally brass. The quality of the plating product made of brass can be guaranteed to be the highest. The higher the purity of the brass is, the better the plating quality is, and the less plating layer on the surface is less likely to be corroded. Some faucet manufacturers use zinc alloy instead of brass in order to reduce costs. Although the state allows the use of zinc alloy instead of brass, the quality of zinc alloy plating is poor and corrosion resistance is not strong.

Consumers can use the method of weight estimation when purchasing. Brass is heavier and harder, and zinc alloy is lighter and softer. However, the relevant experts of the faucet manufacturers believe that the quality of the faucet should not be judged by its weight alone. “Because some faucet manufacturers can increase the thickness of the faucet or add other metal materials, it can also make the faucet pick up more.” It is best for consumers to ask the sales staff of the faucet manufacturer for a product test report. If the test report says that the product is qualified, the problem is not significant.

3, test flow: foam rich and soft bubbler is better

Consumers should choose a more durable overall casting faucet. The sound of an overall cast tap is even more boring. Consumers can tap the tap to determine if the tap is cast as a whole.

When purchasing, choose a faucet with a bubbler, and feel the water flow with your hand. The water flow is soft and the foam (water bubble content) is rich, indicating that the bubbler is of good quality. The bubbler generally consists of six layers, usually consisting of a metal mesh cover (partly plastic). When the water passes through the mesh cover, it will be cut into a large number of tiny water columns with air interposed between them so that the water does not splash around.

4, recognize the brand: choose the brand after-sales service is more secure

Consumers should go to the formal market and supermarkets to purchase taps from brand faucet manufacturers. The faucet manufacturers' brand goods all have the brand identity of the faucet manufacturer, and non-regular products or quality products are often only pasted with some paper labels, even without any mark. There should also be the faucet manufacturer's brand identity, quality assurance book and after-sales service card in the tap water box.
